Hi,
I've been using the gimp for a long time,, but i dont know how to make circles!!!
So I'd like to know how to make a circle in the gimp.

You can stroke a selection (rectangle, ellipse as a circle, free-form) as a path.
Right click on a selection, pick selection to path and dig around to stroke path. (Sorry I'm a tiny bit fuzzy). But that is the basic idea.
Selection->path-> stroke path
Strange, isn't it?

Or you can make oval selection, fill it with colour, then shrink selection and delete pixels inside selection... This is my favorite technique because previous method sometimes give noisy line.

Are there any other good graphics programs for linux that have circles? O.o

choose the ellipse select tool > press shift > drag selection to where you want it > fill selection

i really hate it when it is easier to do somthing in MS Paint then on the GIMP :(

Of course it's not as easy...
MS paint is a baby toy compared to what GIMP can do. MS paint wasn't designed to be a professional image editor. But GIMP was.
