I really want to dual-boot Ubuntu 7.10 (running that now) with windows Vista Home Premium! I have a 50GB HDD with 47.0GB left and a External 70GB HD with 44.2GB left! As I have ubuntu 7.10 fully installed on my HDD with 47.0 left would I be able to install Windows Vista Home Premium just on the External HD and then chose from either of those to start up? I'm very new to dual-booting (this is my first ever) so need some help.

it seems feasable, but vista is a space hog so it might be best for you to back up your linux settings

what do you mean? I have loads of stuff on the External to delete so once that done I can probably have 69GB or something...is that what you meant?

It can be done but it depends on your bios and hacking the vista install.
