I woke up last night and just couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to think about some computer stuff and things to try next. A few weeks back I had bought Mac OS X Leopard from the Apple Store and then suddenly realized (WHAT A N00B) that I couldn't just install MAC OS X Leopard straight from my Windows Vista Laptop. I also had a laptop that wouldn't start up properly and decided to install Ubuntu 7.10 on that. It all worked but some features didn't work properly and after ages of trying to fix it just installed Ubuntu 7.10 on my main laptop (ON THAT NOW). My old laptop was starting off running Windows XP SP1 and of course I couldn't install MAC OS X Leopard straight onto that either. But now that I have Ubuntu 7.10 installed on both I want to try to install MAC OS X on my old laptop. Because I have Ubuntu on it now will that let me install MAC OS X on my old laptop straight from Ubuntu or not? I really do need to know this so please could anybody answer as soon a possible! Thanks

Sorry to say this man, but no. MAC OS X will only work on Computers built by apple. Well i guess it could work if you did a lot of illegal hacking.

Go get a refund on it because you aren't going to get it going on your non Apple systems.

Visit the osx86 projects website, it isn't that hard to set it up. A friend of mine has done it.

I don't know whether I can post the links here or not.

Yes, you can do that, but OSX can legally be installed only on Apple hardware.
