While going through the Ubuntu forums I found this sub forum. Just curious what's the difference between regular Ubuntu and the Christian edition?

Basically, it's a distribution directly based on Ubuntu but containing some programs geared toward Christians. Seems like a weird thing to me simply because I could get the regular version of Ubuntu and use the Internet to find plently of Christian websites and such, but whatever floats your boat I suppose.

One thing I see that is different though that Ubuntu doesn't have are some apps such as parental controls. Looks like this also strives to help protect children.

There are good implementations of parental controls in OS X 10.5 Leopard and Windows Vista. I hope that Ubuntu 8.04 or at least 8.10 will bring a simple built in interface to manage such things.

Please someone help us out!
