Need Help with inkscape,

Hi, I am trying to convert this png pictures into a svg, the problem is I need to have it in only one layer/path because I am adding some details and I need to be able to scale it all together afterward.

So if you manage Inkscape well, and have few minutes to spear I will surely appreciate your help.

you should be able to use the trace bitmap tool

1.import the png into inkscape
2.Path>Trace Bitmap
3. fiddle with the settings :)

since it is all black and white it should work with no problems.

edit: brightness cutoff, with colours:2 worked good for me.

This is incredible! I didn't expect Inkscape will do so well with this task.:)
