I have a Gateway MX6920 with a Centrino Duo processor, and I tried installing Ubuntu (both 7.04 and 7.10) and I get the error "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32 bit distro". I currently have XP on it and I would like to dual boot. Am I mistaken about my processor?

You Can't Install the 64-bit Version, because you don't have a 64-bit Computer!
You Must to Install the 32-bit Version, Sorry.:(

duo doesnt necessarily mean 64bit, theres a label on 64 bit that say it right on the tags..
