You should consider atmosphere (feeling) you wish to accomplish. Decide for optimal brightness solution, amount of contrast or harmony. This should be your main course. Also, it's recommended to have some sort of mystic narration. Maybe some person in the distance...

I really liked the first raw version with white background the best. The black background seemed to overwhelm the piece, probably not enough contrasting color.

The blurred pieces made me lose too much focus.

When I saw, "Drawn by Hand 100%", I assumed that it would be. ;) (no computer involved in the creation) I think that your first "white" image, would be very nice if done in charcoal or, perhaps, pen and ink.

Hey! No hand drawn pictures anymore? I've was thinking already: "Huh, here we go, thats the way of getting new Ubuntu (and not only) artwork eh!". We could get pretty nice artwork ideas here. ;) Come on guys, let's get some nice sweet pics in here. :)
