Wine 0.9.54 broke Warcraft 3 frozen throne

This update for wine (0.9.54) makes a new error when i try to run Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. It shows the splash screen but doesn't run.
The error is (fixme:msg : pack_message msg 14 (WM_ERASEBKGND) not supported yet). I might revert to (0.9.53) but in being a new person to Ubuntu (7.10) I have no idea how to do this.

then install this one.

9.54 and Silkroad gives me d3derr invalid argument so i had to go back to 9.53 too.

Hey Guys, I had the same problem with the new update. according to the Wine main page and forum, it is a known issue with the version. Running war3.exe in wine instead of the usual frozenthrone.exe allows the game to run normally, without hanging. give it a try.

I Have the same problem with warcraft III Frozen throne.. has anyone figured out a way to solve this problem..
