I have a problem which I can't find a solution to. It might be easy to fix but I don't know much about this. Anyway...
I have installed mythbuntu 7.10 on my HTPC. I have onboard graphics with AMD690G chipset and X1250 graphics card. The tv is an old fashioned one (not lcd or plasma, don't know the name in english) with scart as the only option for input. I use vga - scart to connect the computer and tv.
The problem is that I'm getting bright horizontal lines across the screen when the scene is dark, I'm guessing the lines are allways there but hard to see on brighter scenes. The lines do not move or anything. It's really annoying because a lot of tv shows and dvd movies has (a lot of) dark scenes in them. The lines appears in desktop mode, inside mythtv and vlc...but as I said earlier, the lines are probably allways there.
A clue what might be the problem? Anyone?
