www.americasarmy.com seems to only have links to version 2.4 for Windows.
Anyone know where I can download the Linux version?

You can download AA for linux from http://www.fileshack.com/file.x?fid=3051 . AA Linux version is still at version 2.3 as told at americasarmy.com.

I would like to use gFTP to download americasarmy, but don't know what to do.
I CAN download from those sites that let you download, where you have to wait in line, but frequently I have to stop my download for a while and then contine it and sometimes I have to exit ubuntu and get to windows, thus stopping my download.
So, please, teach me how to download AA using gFTP!!
Thank you for your time!

Easier yet would be using a command line tool, wget.
Open a terminal, then
$ wget pathtofile.zip
to stop press ctrl-c
to continue:
$ wget -c pathtofile.zip
you don't have to retype all of that stuff in a terminal, as you can access your history with the arrow buttons, then add "-c".
d4x is available in Synaptic and a great front-end for wget.
I don't have gFTP installed currently so I don't recall exactly how it works.
Hope this helps. I'm not one to push folks onto terminals for everything, but wget is so basic that I tell even noobs to use it. Plus a terminal looks very professional and sexy on the desktop. LOL
