Hi there

i have windows XP Home

for some reason there is a user account on there that apears to have been deleted yet you can still log onto it. It doesnt:

1. Apear in the "control userpasswords2" list accessed from the Run dailog

2. Apear in control panel

3. Apear in the hidden useracoounts Key in regedit

(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\C urrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList )

4. But yet i can still log onto it???

WTF??

Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

Thanks :D

Was the user a administrator?
Did you delete it from the control panel or somewhere else?
Have you rebooted your system?

Have you tried typing "net users" (no quotes) into the run dialog. There can be accounts there that are hidden from "control userpasswords2" and from ""control useraccounts2".
