Thanks Jereme,
I appreciate it. I actually did not wait for your release of Hardy on my laptop. So I am trying to get all the things I really like about yours. One is the Bible RSS.
I hate to be a bother, but how do I install tarball's in Ubuntu? or particularly this tarball <8)
PS I put Ubuntu 8.04CE on my 77 year old dads computer. I changed a few things & made it look more like Vista, which is what he was use to. He really like it. He compliments on the speed it has.
The gift was seed money. I really believe that this project is good soil. I don't believe that this was your idea. I believe that God is using you to accomplish a plan of his. Who ever thought of a Christian OS? The minute I saw it I had to download it. I though "I am gonna try that". I told all my Christian friend about it. I have seen a lot of criticism on this, so that right there let's you know you are in God's plan. I just wanted my hand in something I believe to be a move of God. I know my part is not much, but I know it's in God will. It is so easy to put money where it is waisted, and so difficult to put it where it will benefit.

Thanks so much for your kind words and support.
You can use the gdesklets control panel to install it. It has been a while since I have installed one, but if I remember correctly it was fairly straight forward.
Thanks, Jereme

Thanks Jereme,
Well I don't know if this is the right procedure or not, but it worked for me.
1. Main Menu, Sys, Admin, Synaptic Package Manager. Search, gDesklets. Two Items came up. I installed both.
2. Main Menu, Accessories, gDesklets, Up at the top of the gDesklets window there are three locations (File, Profiles, Help) I chose files, Install package. I pointed to your tarball, which was on my desktop & finished
3. Ctrl, Alt, Backspace. I had an error line 50 something I think 56. I was a news URL. I selected to fill in the ignore errors radio button on the pop up window. I might look into that later, but I will probably forget about it soon enough 8)
4. Main Menu, Sys, Pref, Sessions, >add gDesklets< Ctrl, Alt, Backspace
It seems to work great!
Anyway lunch is over!
Thanks Much!!!
