Just to let you know the 7.10 in Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 is not it's version number so to speak, it is the year and month it was released. Therefore GG was released in Oct. of 2007. The next release will be Hardy Heron 8.04, to be released in April. A new version of Ubuntu is released every 6 months so the next Ubuntu to be named will be 8.10
