How do I paint a big white frame around a picture?
Make a rectangle selction of the center (the part you want to be visible). Then right click the canvas and select Selection->Invert. Now you should have a selection around the border of the image. Click the "bucket" (flood fill) icon in the control panel of the Gimp. Now look at the tool options below the control panel, under "Affected Area", and check the entry "Fill whole selection". Before you click the image (thus making the fill) make sure that you have selected white as your foreground color.

A launcher starts a program and an applet is a small program running inside the panel. To add something to the panel just right click it and select "Add to panel..."

Man your surely is good on that, way to go with some mouseclicks, Im into compilation matters.
I wanna paint like that too :(
How do you get the colurs to fade out so good, in like "shades" for the big orange/yellow sun I beg a pardon if I cant see the real colours beacuse this grafic card is old like 5 years and this screen is like TCO 95 so hey its like 9 years old, 14 years together ;-)
Everything is like darker then it sholud be, some colours do get better, but very light colour pictures, like drawing can get wores. And its like asun burner my skinns gets a little red :( I am not at home this screen is surely dull, if I only had a good driver then I could open more gamma.
