Hey everyone. I'm running UbuntuStudio 7.04 on a P4 2.4GHz PC w/ 512MB and an Audigy2 soundcard. The latency is set at 46.6ms, can't get any lower. If I go lower, I get bad clicking, or low enough, JACK just bombs. If I bump up to a Core2Duo (say 4300 or 6300), would that help or does this sound card just have to go? I'm torn between keeping US7.04 as I do enjoy working with Ardour or picking up a dedicated DAW. TIA for any help.
