Yes you can.. But it wont be fast.

I have used VMWare with similar setup. the 512 MB ram is just enough altouhgt more would always be better..

thx. I can't find my windows cd right now, so I'm installing 98. 87% is done.
Man, all windows software is crap, no matter the timeline. Hopefully, 256 MB of RAM will be like overkill for 98.
