I've been a flash animator for some time now, and have gotten really used to using the interface and style of it. Are there any linux programs that use a similar interface and style? I'm really not to fond of the Gimp/Photoshop-esque way of designing, and would like it a lot if I could avoid programs like those.

Thanks much in advanced

Flash 8 and other versions of flash work very well using wine
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=3720588&postcount=3

Though they no longer distribute the Flash 8 trial version, I found it just by googling for a little bit... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BVLS158E

Also, the program F4L (flash4linux) seemed promising, but development was halted because there were trademark issues. It has since been resurrected in the UIRA (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UIRA) project, but that now seems to have shut down as well D:

Xara has trouble exporting to formats such as SVG, as far as I know. I would suggest a different vector editor like Inkscape if you are going to go that route.
