It's a binary file, which K3B won't export, what to you need to do it for?
Did you mean k3b or k3d?

K3B is a KDE CD/DVD burning application, while K3D is a Gnome 3D mesh modeller..

oh ok... well, i was trying to find out if i could open the k3d models with another program, so i could use them for modding games and things like that. I mean, if the files arent supported by anything other than k3d, i might as well dl a trial of 3ds max or something

I'm pretty sure that K-3D should be able to save in at least couple of different file formats, and probably you can get support for even more by installing some plugins.

Sorry, I have no idea, I haven't used K-3D that much. After 10 years of 3DS MAX I'm having some troubles moving to other programs :D
You could also try Blender, it's absolutely amazing if only you can learn to live with it's user interface.. And of course Maya has a Linux version as well..
