 I can't enable the Nvidia graphics card driver! I have an Nvidia Geforce Go 7400, so I should be able to enable it, but I always get this error message:

The software source for the package

nvidia-glx-new

is not enabled

and I can't enable anything! It just says "close"! What do I do? I just now dual booted Ubuntu and Vista because I loved Ubuntu from the Live CD and the first thing I wanted was compiz fusion! Please help!

i had the same problem, i think my internet wasn't working, so i closed the restricted drivers thing, fixed my internet, restarted pc and it worked fine after..
probably this has nothing to do with the actual solution to ur problem byt try it anyways...

What does the Restricted Drivers Manager say? (System > Administration > Restricted Drivers Manager)

Go System>Administration>Software Sources and make sure you have all the boxes checked in the first tab. Uncheck the CD-ROM one if it is checked. Go to the Updates tab and check the first two and optionally the fourth one. Click Close and Reload the sources when prompted. Then try the Restricted Driver Manager again.
