I Have custom desktop effects installed, and I am have my 4 virtual desktops on a cube. I can rotate the cube with the mouse wheel or by dragging windows. I have also had success adding a background image so that when I rotate the cube, I can see just a little of that image behind the rotation. What I haven't been able to do is to ba able to actually see the cube when it rotates, The desktop flips, but I never really see the actual cube. I had assumed that I was looking for cube caps, but selecting that option really does nothing different. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks,

Have you tried holding Ctrl-Alt-Left mouse button and moving the mouse? Taht is the default combination for free rotating the cube

AHHHH OK, That works. I had assumed there was some option to see the 3d image of the cube during a normal flip while dragging a window to another desktop. Am I wrong?

Not entirely wrong. Enable the Rotate Cube plugin (I assume you already did), then go to the settings dialogue for this plugin. Here, change the zoom option, that's probably what your looking for.

If none of this works, then go to the Viewport Switcher plugin and ensure that it is set like this:

Plugin for initiate action: rotate

Action name for initiate: initiate
