Hi,
Wouldn't it be nice to have an ubuntu starters book in multiple languages released together with hoary ? The money earned could be used for ubuntu bounties. I think it would help "spreading the message"

If I weren't allready spending around $600 of my own money (I will save up by shoveling driveways) buying a Northgate custom computer I'd get one...

this might be a start to what you are describing:
http://kitech.com.my/ubuntu/4.10/index.html
it is VERY well done and has many solutions for common problems and needs.

Yeah that would be a nice start. If something like that would be avaiilable in many languages with nice pictures and in print I think linux newbies would be very happy.
