Hello everybody out there sitting in front of their PCs right now. I'm going straight to the point here, I have a softmodded Xbox of which I want to upgrade the Hard drive...I know how to handle everything if the hard drive is bigger than 137gb. My question is though, I want get a hard drive bigger than that and bigger than 250gb (possibly 500gb), but I heard instead of using XboxHDM I would have to use Xboxpartitioner which I have never used. Now, do I really need that application? is it PC based or does it run on the Xbox? another thing, is there anyway to just install the 500gb hard drive (or anything bigger than 250gb) using XboxHDM v1.9? can I enable the G drive to have all the 500gb usable with that program or do I really need Xboxpartitioner? of I do need the latter, how do I use it? what exactly do I have to do?
Anyway, if anybody can answer this for me thanks a lot! I've posted in around 10 different Xbox modding related forums and nobody has replied in at least a week!
EDIT: oh yeah, they say that XBpartitioner can make 32k clusters so I guess I have to use it...but could anybody give step by step with that program please? it would be appreciated.
