I went there for the first time in a while yesterday and it looks gorgeous! I've gotta hand it to the web designer there, they did a really good job. The use of slightly darker colors of the spectrum (And NBC's logo) in the banner is simply stunning. I wonder if you could make something like that in the GIMP. Its a great website design anyway, a more refined theme than most "Web 2.0" sites. Man, I wish I could design a website like that

Yeah, craigslist is VERY beautiful when you find someone selling their dual core desktop for $100...:)

Myself I've always been most fond of the layout of a good, clean wiki. All the information one could want, presented in a searchable way, and often with no flash animations or terribly implemented CSS getting in the way of reading that information.
