Frozen Bubble widescreen distortion

I know...not "the latest game", but I still love it.

Frozen Bubble 2.10 is distorted (stretched) when I play it fullscreen on my widescreen monitor. Bubbles are oval and the penguin looks like he's been hitting the Cheetos a little too hard. Ubuntu 7.10, Dell SE198WFP, 1440x900, GeForce 6200, restricted driver . Fullscreen videos at 4:3 display with black bars on either side, and I'd like to make FB do that, too, but if that's possible, I don't know how. My cute little penguin would appreciate any help he can get to return to his only slightly pudgy purple self. :)

I assume it works OK in windowed mode. You may have to go to the FB project page and file a bug or search to see if one already exists.

Thanks--I'll do that. It is fine in windowed mode, but I tried it on my laptop with openSUSE and Intel graphics, and it does the same thing, so I'd think it must be the game itself.
