Hi, I followed the instructions at this thread:
http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=54963&highlight=rtcw
and managed to install RtCW on my system, the game loads up and sound works fine but the viseo output is "wavy" to the point where I cant read the menu text. It kinda looks like the menus in Tux racer looked before I got DRI working, but with none of the sluggishness.
My system is as follows
VIA MII 12000 Mini-itx mobo (Nehemia 1.2GHz CPU), with CLE266 graphics chipset.
512MB 266 DDR Ram.
Running Ubuntu 5.10 the Breezy Badger. Dri is enabled
I had this game Running under windows before I made the switch to linux, and it ran well.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Beej
EDIT: found the problem, the resolution was set to 640 x 480 changing to 800 x 600 0r 1024x768 fixed the issue.
