Jcreator in Wine [Archive]

Hi I recently installed Jcreator in Wine on my Computer. When I open Jcreator everything goes fine but when I type in the characters are all wacky. I checked my font in wine and all I have is aerial. Also whenever i try to run a compiled file it doesn't work. Should I just switch to a Linux IDE? Can anybody help me.

Since you posted recently:

May I inquire on how you got that working so well? With wine it freezes on loading ...

I'm using ubuntu 7.10, and relatively new to linux (from win world)

Wine is pretty powerful. I got Guitar Pro 5 working in it.
