Im very interested in setting up an internet dj site where people can connect and listen to live stream. I downloaded the internet dj console and was very confused about the server instructions. What is the host and port information. I tried to use my router info but it didnt work. Is there a site that I can go to to use a free server?

after setting up the connection I was wondering how i would also create a website to forward my show.

any information would be a lot of help. I am researching to my best intent but havn't found anything to concretely answer my questions.
thanks

I found this quite confusing as well when I first did it (you're not alone:)).

If you want to stream from your pc, directly to the listeners, the 'host' info will be your ip-adress, and your 'port' can be ex 8000. An important point is also to make sure that this port is open for traffic in your router.

together this makes the adress for the listeners: http://[your-ip]:[port]/

If you got a dynamic ip adress (very likely) it would be smart to use a service like dyndns.org. In that way, if your ip adress changes, you can have an alias, a link, which stays the same.

I've tried to find free streaming servers as well, couldn't find any....

Good luck
