Not sure what I did, but I can't seem to get my desktop back up. ubuntu goes through the boot sequence, then stops with the blank screen and the circular "busy" icon on the screen. My mouse moves it around but the system won't go beyond that point. The only thing I can remember messing with before this problem arose was Pidgin. I clicked on the integrate with nautilus and .... well can't remember the other one, evolution I think. Any ideas? Anything I can do to fix it from recovery mode?................................

Found another thread with the same problem................ appears to be a wide spread glitch in an update from yesterday.....
