Hello
I have an ATI Radeon 9700.
I've installed Ubuntu 7.10 and fglrx from restricted driver manager.
I run:
$sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
$sudo apt-get install xserver-xgl
reboot
$sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager
everything was working finel.
however since I reboot again:
- the letters seem distorted (almost unreadable) their colour is inverted with the bakground.
- navigating with firefox for example became extremely slow.
- scroll bar looks like someone drop glue on it.
can anyone help me please?
thanks
