Using Compiz, I saw my friend being able to point it's cursor top left, then it would zoom out and could see/select all workspace,...
I searched but ... Where can I enable that?

I found the Compiz settings manager helpful for a novice like me.
sudo apt-get install compiz compizconfig-settings-manager

Scrolling through the cube is a part of Viewport Switching.

You have the viewport switching plugin or the settings manager?
If you have the settings manager its called Rotate Cube.
Here's an image of the settings manager:

As long as it is enabled the mouse gestures are set by default.
