Waiting for files to close WoW Patch

After the patch downloads it tries to open up the extractor and alls I get is an "untitled window" wich normally would show the progression of the installation plus detail of what new updates are being installed with the patch. Now I only get a blank untitled window that keeps blinking " Waiting for files to close......." but with no progress of any kind.



This is what a CM responded with

I'm not sure for Linux. If there is a task manager utility, try closing these if they're open:


WoW.exe
Launcher.exe
BackgroundDownloader.exe
Repair.exe
WowError.exe

But when I go into System, Administration and System monitor. nothing for WoW shows up. Any help?

Through toying around with it I fixed the problem. I had it emulating windows 98 wich I don't beleive WoW supports anymore. So, change it to a different one. I chose Windows XP

Thanks for that tip, changing to win2000 fixed my problem as well!
