Looking for a certain compiz fusion effect

I'm looking for this effect. I love that but i can't find it.

IT's the first effect about 34 seconds into the video.

And is this still available for compiz fusion?

Well, this doesn't appear to be exactly what you're looking for, but if you enable the water feature and assign an accelerator to initiate the effect, you get a nice little ripple effect whenever you use it. It looks good, but it's not automatic.

Thanks, I know about that one, but as you mentioned its not automatic.

Rather hard to see what's going on in the movie, but it does look like the water effect that's been tweaked a bit.

Im sure there's a way to activate a plugin without entering CCSM.

No, I'm afraid the effect is not available for Compiz. It hasn't been ported from Beryl to Compiz Fusion because it was considered too hacky.

There is a patch available, AFAIK (dunno if it will work with Ubuntu's packages, though - I guess not). Try searching the compiz-fusion.org forums.
