[SOLVED] E17 ?s

I installed E17 per the updated howto on this forum. What do I need to do to get a bar at the top of my screen like there is in Geubuntu? Also my firefox window doesn't show the very top where you can minimize, X, maximize. What do I have to do to get that back?

OK, I installed E17 on a laptop and it works fine. The problem I'm having is I can't find a menu to run any type of system configurations such as a network GUI. Anyone know how to find this stuff so I can have it on a menu?

I'm not sure how much help this will be but it's a start.

If you need wifi, download WICD

You can also use gnome-network-manager. Just put it in your "start up apps" list. The How-To you followed has this steps in the OP's first post.

If you want the Gnome panel, I'm pretty sure putting gnome-panel on your "start up apps" will do the trick. Try it out, let us all know.

Ah, gnome panel, I'm pretty sure that's what I need. I'll try that tonight and post back when I've done it.

Hy!

I did the following:
-Removed any old startup launchers from e17
-added enlightenment_start to my gnome session's startup list
-removed metacity from my gnome session

This works fine, with one serious problem: the gnome panel only appears on my firs workspace, and I can't find a way to change this :S

Any ideas?
