WoW and Skype (moved from WoW FPS post)

Wow, um... you'll never believe this.

I started Skype before I started WoW today, thinking I'd wind up VoIP'ing with a friend of mine. Then while running WoW, I closed Skype.

WoW ceased to make any sound at all, the Exit Game button stopped responding, none of my spell buttons were responding, and the game locked up when I tried to close it manually. (Running in windowed.)

But my FPS did go up to 6, which is the highest it's ever been for me on this computer. In areas that would lower my FPS down to 2 or 1, I was still getting 4 FPS.

Really strange.

Amaroq, that's problably because wow didn't use sound, try disableing sound in the Config.wtf see if that helps =)

Also have you tried all the diff. PixelShader and MU2PixelShader ect. options, some got more FPS with both of, others with both on, some with just one off ect. search for a config.wtf list of all possible things to add then see what works for you.
