Wow, um... you'll never believe this.
I started Skype before I started WoW today, thinking I'd wind up VoIP'ing with a friend of mine. Then while running WoW, I closed Skype.
WoW ceased to make any sound at all, the Exit Game button stopped responding, none of my spell buttons were responding, and the game locked up when I tried to close it manually. (Running in windowed.)
But my FPS did go up to 6, which is the highest it's ever been for me on this computer. In areas that would lower my FPS down to 2 or 1, I was still getting 4 FPS.
Really strange.
