When I'm in WoW, whenever I go to change the video settings in the game, it locks. I can't shut it down. I have to <Ctrl><Alt><F7> to get out of the game and can't even shut it down once I'm out. Once I reboot and reload the game it works. This happens every time I go to change my video settings in the game.

have you tried editing the config.wtf file outside the game? Also, have you tried running wow in opengl (./WoW.exe -opengl)? If those don't work I'll wrap my head around this a bit more

This is a long standing well known bug..
I suggest searching for partial solutions as they are in abundance or manually editing the config file.

Yup, Already run wow in opengl. How should I alter config.wtf?

With a text editor such as pico or gedit.

Download this addon and put it in your Interface/AddOns/ folder.

It fixes the video settings thing so you can change it without the game crashing.

This might be a dumb question. But, did you unzip the mod? If so I woun't be able to help until i get home. Which will be in a couple of hours.
