My goal is to setup Steam for Counter-Strike:Source and World of Warcraft with my Ubuntu 7.10. I read that I need Wine to do so, but the Wine I have doesn't show Windows XP in the list and won't find any of those programs. I already have those games installed on my XP partition. I was wondering if there is a way to get Wine to be on Windows XP and read those games.

I reread my post and it was confusing I don't mean to run Wine on XP obviously, I mean is there a way to have the setting for XP on Wine and would that solve my problem. In a nutshell I have these 2 games ainstalled and just want to be able to play them on Linux. Once I have that it's goodbye windows for good.

Both titles will run even if you don't set the version as Windows XP in winecfg.
I'm not really sure what you're trying to accomplish but you will in most cases need to reinstall any program/game titles you want to run via WINE.
