I recently installed the 64bit version of 7.10 on a machine here at home but it kept crashing. I ran memory tests (which found a fault) and now I'm trying to restart the machine, I get the following message:

init:trying to resume from /dev.... etc
init:No resume image, doing normal boot.

Then I get the text login for tty1

How can I get rid of this have have Ubuntu boot graphically as usual? I know there are some files Xsomthing.0.log and all that, but I really have no clue what to do with those, so an idiot's guide to a solution would be great!

Thanks :)
