Backend shuts down seemingly randomly

Hey guys,

I have been running MythTV for a couple of weeks now and its been pretty good. But in the last couple of days the backend has been suddenly shutting itself down for no apparent reason.

I will be watching TV, then everything will suddenly freeze. When i try to then go back out of MythTV, a message will appear saying "could not connect to the backend at..." etc (or something along those lines).

I have no real clue how to start diagnosing what could be going wrong... any suggestions as to what i should do next?

Start out in
/var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log

This sounds a bit like something I just saw in http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=658310, though in my case it was a self-inflicted stupidity... :-/ Still, something in my overkill docs might be of use to you.
