Hello. I want to thank everyone so far who has helped me with my Debian excursions so far. However, I have a new problem. I installed alsa-base and alsa-utils. When I installed Debian two weeks ago, running alsaconf on stable would bring it up. Now, it says command not found. I'm completely baffled. Debian's packages on stable are frozen I thought. How is it that now it's not working?

You are trying to run as root I presume?
I'm using Debian-Lenny and alsaconf is at /usr/sbin
