I am on Vista now (Ubuntu crashed when trying to use it on another machine). I was using my SD drive in my MP3 player to transfer my pictures which I was going to use on it with Vista. They showed up fine on the Xubuntu LiveCD I booted to fix Ubuntu, but only the jpg images show up on Vista. I can only copy the JPG images as well. How do I fix this?

What other type of files are there besides JPG? You can drop to DOS and try to do the old copy/move commands to do it.

I have pngs, xcfs, gifs, svg, and others (those are the majority). The ones I really need are SVG.

Are you sure Windows recognizes SVG natively?

I know it doesn't preview it natively, but I have Inkscape installed. I was going to open them with that. Shouldn't just show me them as a plain file if it isn't recognised?
