I thought I was buying an Eee until something came up. If I was to buy a new computer, I should give up my laptop. That means, if I buy an Eee, I will have no other computer.

You think so too that it's hard to live with an Eee alone? I can get an external monitor and hard drive but I think that the Eee's processor is too slow because I'm already having problems with my 1.5ghz celeron M.

What devices can you suggest? I have a relatively big laptop. It has a 15" screen which is nice but it is too big for me to bring it to school everyday.

I was looking at the Gigabyte UMPC too. Now, it's a good prospect but I don't know if it will happily run Ubuntu. Will it? Also, do you think that you would survive with it alone (meaning, no other computer?).

What other devices can you suggest?
