Now the content of the article doesn't really mean anything at this point, though I think it funny that someone apparently so knowledgeable on linux has never loaded Debian.

But I'm off topic. Take a look at the page source and up at the top there you see "MSHTML" yup Microsoft Frontpage wrote this code. That and if you look at the bottom there you see a Powered by FreeBSD sticker when Apache reports it's CentOS packaged though checking Netcraft it was at one time on FreeBSD but the site changed providers and just hasn't taken down the logo. I may just be in a strange mood but I find it funny.

All I can say is haha.
I actually read this article earlier today. Granted, Fedora 8 might be nice, but the guy kind of comes off as an idiot.

The same goes for most of his articles (http://www.madpenguin.org/cms/?m=show&id=8056), as far as I saw.

"I don't like Compiz Fusion. It's stupid. Well, hopefully I have changed your mind about Compiz Fusion."

But I can only take so much of Debian's minimalist approach when it comes to describing features and why I should care to use the distro. After looking into what Fedora has done , I think it is clear which distribution is really working hard to attract new users.

Isn't the purpose of Etch to be a stable release? If he wants to see new features maybe he should have looked at Sid or Lenny.
