Hai all,

I am a gutsy gibbon user. I have a problem to enable nvidia-glx driver. When I try to select "Extra" for visual effect, It is said that I have to enable the NVidia driver. But when I click "enable driver", there is a pop up window says " The software source for the package nvidia-glx is not enabled".

I also try to enable it via Restricted Driver Manager. But the same window is popping up. I've try to uninstall and then re-install the gutsy, but the result is just same.

Please help me. Thank you.

Make sure the software sources is enabled in System>Administration>Software Sources.

Ach...
What a quick and stright forward solution (not more than 2 minutes) :)

I've not tought about it before. I've enable the "proprietary drivers for devices (restricted), and the driver was automatically downloaded.

Many thank you for your help.
