mythtv + schedules direct

Whenever mythfilldatabase runs it can't connect to SD. Whenever i try to retrieve line-ups from my video source in the backend setup nothing happens. And when I
try to fetch channels from listing source in input connections it doesn't get any of my line-ups. can someone plz help!

Login to SD website verify your account name and password.

Verify these are correct in myth backend setup.

I too have the same problem. All my info at sched. direct is fine

When I had this problem it was because my password was too long: I forget the precise details as it was early last year, but I switched to a shorter password (8 characters?) and then it started working.

I too have a problem w/ 'mythfilldatabase' (mythbuntu 9.10) Can you supply a 'step-by-step' how to for this? SchedulesDirect info is okay. Here's their direct reply.

MythTV downloads data in raw format and doesn't have the limitation. Since you can download data using XMLTV there's nothing wrong with yourSD account or PC setup, you must have a MythTV config issue. Unfortunately, we're not really in a position to help with applicationproblems. I don't even use Myth myself. I suggest you post on theMyth-Users mailing list. I'm sure there are folks there who can help.

I had the same problem on my first install of mythbuntu. The problem turned out to be that I needed to log into Schedules direct and actually pick a programming service to my line up.
