Sorry if this sounds a bit noob-like but when I use ctrl+alt+mousedrag and rotate the cube, all my windows move away a long distance from the desktop. This was fine before but now my gdesklets seem to count as windows and this looks very ugly. This also results in a few seconds delay between choosing a viewport and having them all go back to their place.

Here is a screenshot to help illustrate my point:

BTW, I am using Beryl + XGL and not Compiz.

Sorry it took so long to respond I had to activate beryl. But ok if you go to beryl settings manager and under visual effects, 3d effects you can change the spacing between windows. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much overdrank. I reduced the spacing between windows to nearly 0. Although I haven't yet tried it with the gdesklets (the whole program crashed and they disappeared) it worked when I tried it with many other applications open.

Ok sorry I don't think that is the reason for the crash.[-o< And if it works, please remember to mark the thread solved under thread tools. :KS
