UT2004 and realistic shadows?

Hey, just installed ut2004 on gutsy and it works except for one tiny little thing. I can get the realistic shadows to work. I have the latest 3369.2 patch and a Geforce 6800GT with restricted drivers so it should work I guess?
Anyone else had this problem and solved it?

Easiest solution, use Windows to play any kind of serious game. Linux is not built for it, end of discussion. Hope this chagnes with time, but as of right now it is much easier.
