Please explain, after 15 months of using 6.06, 7.04 and now 7.10, ubuntu linux never ceases to amaze me, a week ago I brought home a hp psc1610 printer (broken freebe ) and it just worked, scanner, copier and printing funtions, my psc1210 and photosmart 7150 work ootb, today I brought home a microsoft wired keyboard and all the buttons across the top, mail, home, volume, mute, calculator, media ect. worked!
I have multiple wireless cards, with broadcom 4318, atheros, ti acx111 chipsets (pcmcia, pci and usb ) and other than the wusb54g v4 all work ootb, and yes there is a fix for the wusb54g that in my opinion is very simple, but most of all I installed hardy alpha 2 on this laptop which is a toshiba satellite pro 4300 and now my suspend and hibernate work.
Call me a fanboy... but an impressed one if you must.
