My laptop has an Intel Pro Wireless 3945 ABG wireless chip that worked out of the box with Ubuntu and Linux Mint. However, I have decided to try Debian and I don't know how to get the wireless to work. I just did a Debian "netinstall" of Lenny, and I am hooked up with a cable right now, but I have to be in a somewhat uncomfortable position to use the cable (sitting on the ground), and I would love to get wireless to work, otherwise I am dumping Debian. I also did a search in synaptic for "ipw" and "iwlwifi" but each didn't turn up anything. Please help, I am a newbie.

Thanks, now I have wireless working in Debian. Didn't think it would be so easy, but I guess I was thinking about Windows :lolflag:
