hoary-security has just updated mozilla family products, which updated firefox as well. But the one in packports is still taking over the new one?

I think we need an update on this. I hate to force package version.

No definitely not.
First of all plugins will not work.
And beta makes me uncomfortable.

Keep your pants on... I'm building and QA'ing Breezy's firefox (1ubuntu12), which contains the security fix.

In the meantime, disable IDN to work around the security hole -- didn't we learn to do this back with Firefox 1.0.3? ;)
