i got KQ from the add/remove programs a while ago... played it for a while... got stuck... quit...

anyone got any advice for the game..?

Well, if you don't tell us where you got stuck, Bon Mots, how can we help you? You should be aware, however, that KQ is an unfinished game - you'll eventually come to places where this becomes apparent.

If you want to try a cracking new game that Basilisk, the developer, have released a Linux version of just in time for Christmas, go for Eschalon: Book I (http://basiliskgames.com/book1.htm). It'll cost you $27 US for the full game, but there's a very impressive free demo. It seems to take to Gutsy like a duck to water, too.
